Team Rankings

Welcome to E-Roks Tournament Rankings. Rankings are going to be projected by players skill level and team chemistry. Will try to analyze each team the best I can. Keep in mind some teams except the champion team that is returning have never played with each other except for pick up games on Mondays but of course we knew that coming in. With out further delay here are your June 2011 rankings.

1. BraveHeartz: Two time defending champs are looking to repeat for a 3rd time. Elvis will be looking to get his team back to the promise land but is his team ready to face a more vigorous competition than years past? There is no question that they have the chemistry and the experience to get back to the finals.

2. RED RED RED: Jammer ran an impressive draft picking up the #1 pick and #6 pick in the draft. This team will be a good defensive team and will be looking to capitalize off turnovers. Look for this team to make some noise.

3. Generation: Don't sleep on this team. Garrita took a reach in the 2nd round to get the big 6'4 280 lb David Cornejo. This team strengths with out no doubt will be shooting especially having Pete camping out on the perimeter, could be deadly if left wide open. Everybody on this team can stroke it from 3 point land and will be looking to get 2nd chance points off rebounds.

4. THE ''V'':  This squad is going to have to rely on their veteran leadership if they want to get far. This team matches up real good with small or big teams. This team will have to heavily depend on its defense to get deep in the tournament.

5. Game Over: This is another squad not to sleep on. anybody on this team has the ability to create their own shot. Look out for Pauly he is known to get up for tournaments, if he starts having his way early it could be trouble. I only have this team ranked here because of their capt (pauly) this team will only go the distance if their captain steps it up.

6. UNLV: Matt will have to adjust his roster due to one of his players having prior arrangement plans. No doubt Matt will pick up someone that will help his team compete. For this team to advance deep, the X factor will be the player Matt picks up via free agency. Could be a long day for Matt and his team  if he has to shoulder the load.

There you have it, tried my best to do it as unbiased as possible. Since we are playing inside a church please watch the language and also the winner of the tournament will receive the prize money on a later date. Good Luck to all!
